The Rescue Team, preferably referred to as “Rescue“, is a not-for-profit and a multi-layered charity organization dedicated to orphaned, abandoned, trafficked, and abused children and women; an anti-recidivism body determined to see a society free of crimes and harms; a health team dedicated to fight disease and poverty; plus a mission to cultivate indigenous voices through a community matters’ approach.

Rescue‘ vision is to uplift the standard and living conditions of orphans, vulnerable children as well as empower young people (boys & girls, young mothers & their abandoned children) have a meaningful life and a better future through an educational and sustainable system, capacity building, family tracing and linking until every child has a family (during civil crisis and or, outbreaks).

We believe that every child deserves a future.  In Monrovia and other counties within Liberia as well as other West African Countries in which Rescue would eventually operate, we give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn, and protections from harm. We do whatever it takes for children every day and in times of crisis by transforming their lives and the future we share.

Rescue is also an anti-recidivism organization that combines educational and rehabilitative programming with comprehensive re-entry services upon the release of inmates.

We believe that every child has the right to protection from:

Abuse –         IMG-2982

Neglect –      IMG-2981

Trafficking –    IMG-2983

Exploitation –   IMG-2984

As a multilayered coalition, Rescue believes that every child deserves the right to:

                                                 Education       –     EDU-3

                                                Sanitation     –     1heart-genius

                                              Mental health   –   5h

And above it all, we have a greater task to Succeed in Reducing Recidivism
